Struck on thick flan for Galerius during his first (letter A on coin) Alexandrian year = 292/3 CE.

Obverse: laureate bust of Galerius facing right.

Reverse: Alexandria standing left holding scepter and Sarapis bust.

Emmett 4203/1 rated as R4 (R5 highest rarity). This is the only year of issue for this type.

Certified by NGC to VF, nice brown patina.
