  • Obverse: draped, cuirassed & laureate head of Severus Alexander facing right with full legends in Greek. 
  • Reverse: Egyptian goddess Isis facing right surrounded by date letters L I Gamma (= 13) with palm branch to right.
  • Coin has silvered surfaces, very scarce as such.
  • Isis is the ancient Egyptian goddess of magic, fertility and motherhood, and death, healing and rebirth. She is the first daughter of Geb (the god of the Earth) and Nut (the goddess of the sky) born on the first day of the first years of creation.
