- Obverse: Crowned & cuirassed bust facing, wearing consular robes and holding globus with cross & shield.
- Reverse: Large M, cross above, A below, ANNO to left and reign year II to right, in ex: KYZ.
- Maurice Tiberius was noted for his success against the Persians to the east.
