  • Struck as Augustus 319 CE at the Siscia Mint, SIS, workshop B.
  • Sear-16303, approx 19mm. 
  • Obverse: IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG, draped, cuirassed bust left, wearing high crested helmet and holding spear over right shoulder.
  • Reverse: VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP, two Victories standing facing each other, holding between them shield inscribed VOT PR, resting on altar with X design; BSIS in exergue.
  • Victory was the personification of military triumph by the Roman Legions.
  • Certified by NGC to Ch XF.
  • Original silvering is present, design in very fine style, very appealing in hand!
