LEG XXII PRIMIGENIA (Mogontiacum, Germania Superior = Mainz, Germany)
Septimius Severus issued a series of coins honoring the legions that supported his assumption of the Purple. These were struck in 193 AD from the Rome mint and in 194 from the branch mints in the Eastern part of the Empire

The Reka Devnia Hoard was the most prolific find of 2nd and early 3rd Century Roman silver coins of the period from 64 to 238 AD to have ever been published. It was found near the town of Devnya, north-eastern Bulgaria. The hoard consisted of 81,044 denarii found in 1929.
