Well struck, lightly toned with underlying lustrous surfaces.

Certified by NGC MS 63, Population Census: 6 coins, only 5 higher (four MS64 & one MS65).

An unusual year where 4 different asayers were used.

Dunigan Ca55: "This date is normally seen in high grade, Extremely Fine or so. Almost Uncirculated specimens are available, but Uncirculated examples are difficult to find."
