Extremely Fine Mexico silver 8 reales coin.
Struck at Alamos mint (As mint mark), assayer DL.
Dunigan As14: "In this year new dies were introduced with a redesigned cap and eagle. The cap, unique to this year, is very shallow in relief and almost devoid of detail in the center except for a pronounced raised dot. Normally found about Very Fine with chopmarks or test scratches. Undamaged Very Fine specimens are occasionally available but are scarce. Extremely Fine is rare and anything better may require a long wait."
Certified by NGC to XF 40, conditionally rare.
