  • Dunigan Cn29: "This date is the last of the short lived Die Style of 1873-1874. It is also the last issue to use the C only mintmark, except for a brief appearance in 1881 and 1885. Much of this issue was sent to the Orient. This coin usually comes Very Fine with either tiny or large chopmarks. Uncirculated examples exist, but are very rare."
