  • Rare historic type documenting concord (Concordia) and support of the Legions (standards) after the execution of Perennis.
  • Certified by NGC to VF (with no problems).
  • Obverse: M COMM ANT P FEL AVG BRIT, laureate head right.
  • Reverse: CONC MIL P M TR P XI IMP VII COS V P P, Concordia standing front, head left, holding Legionary Standard in each hand.
  • Sextus Tigidius Perennis was the Praetorian Prefect under Commodus. Perennis was accused of plotting to overthrow the emperor by his rival, Marcus Aurelius Cleander, and was executed on Commodus's orders in 185 AD.
