Struck for King Louis Philippe I at La Rochelle Mint (H mint mark), only issued for four years.

Rare mintage only 80,040 coins, many were melted when the series was demonitized in 1868.

Certified by NGC to AU 50, Population Census: This coin, only 1 higher.

Light colorful toning with lustrous and reflective surfaces.

Appears to be very conservatively graded (in old holder, possible upgrade candidate).
