The date can be found on the obverse and is upside down: The 1 is on the right side of the O of JOANNES, the 8 is on the J of JOANNES, the 0 0 can be seen just above and to the right of the crown.
A considerable amount of the under-type reverse legend can be seen: Assayer's initials, P.P., are uniquely associated with Bolivia from 1795 to 1802 and are visible reverse 3:00 to 3:30, denomination 8R can be seen on and to the right of the Q in SUBQ, the mintmark can be seen on the U of SUBQ.
