- Very Fine Roman Empire silver denarius coin.
- Struck for Empress Sabina (Hadrian's wife) at the Rome Mint.
- RIC 391, RSC 24, approx. 18mm, minted 128-137 CE.
- Certified by NGC to Genuine (not assigned a grade by NGC, but clearly VF).
- Well struck with appealing portrait.
- Obverse: SABINA AVGVSTA, Diademed and draped bust right, with queue and diadem.
- Reverse: CONCORDIA AVG, Concordia seated left, holding patera and scepter.
- Concordia was the goddess of harmony and concord. This reverse type is likely publicizing a harmonious relationship between Sabina and Hadrian.
