  • Apparently Unpublished reverse variant with Medusa Head on shield.
  • NGC Certified to AU, Strike 4/5, Surface 4/5.
  • Obverse: HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate, with drapery on far shoulder, bust right.
  • Reverse: COS III, Roma in military dress, seated left on low chair, holding branch and scepter with shield by chair. Note that shield is decorated with head of Medusa which is apparently UNPUBLISHED!
  • Roma was a female deity who personified the city of Rome and more broadly, the Roman state.
