Superb Imperial portrait with bare chest and drapery on far shoulder.
Certified by NGC to Ch VF.
Obverse: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust right with bare chest and drapery on left shoulder.
Reverse: P M TR P COS II, PAX in ex, Pax standing left holding branch and cornucopiae.
Pax was the Roman goddess of peace. Worship of Peace was organized as a goddess during the rule of Augustus. She had a temples called the Ara Pacis and Pacis. She was depicted in art with olive branches, a cornucopia and a scepter.
