Reverse: S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Dacia seated right in mournful attitude at foot of Legionary Trophy of captured Arms.
Trophy of arms comes from the ancient Roman tropaeum, military victories which were commemorated with a display of actual captured arms, armour and standards.
