Obverse: crowned bust of Elizabeth I with ornate bodice: ELIZAB D G ANG FR ET HIB REGI (Elizabeth by the grace of God Queen of England France & Ireland).

Reverse: Arms of England and France: POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV (I have made God my helper).
