  • Certified by NGC to Ch VF, Strike 3/5, Surface 2/5 Brushed graffito (not significant).
  • Historically significant issue to commemorate the Triumph of Tiberius for victories in Germany, and the renewal of tribunician power, marking him as successor to Augustus.
  • Obverse: CAESAR AVGVSTVS DIVI F PATER PATRIAE, laureate head of Augustus right.
  • Reverse: AVG F TR POT XV, ex. TI CAESAR, Tiberius driving triumphal quadriga right, reins and laurel in right hand, scepter surmounted by eagle in left, two of the horses looking left.
