Extremely Fine James II Ireland Gunmoney large shilling coin dated April 1690 issued during his rebellion after the "Glorious Revolution" of William and Mary.

Obverse: laureate head of James facing left.

Reverse: Crown with crossed scepters and date 1690 XII (mark of value = 12 pence) above and Apr. below.

Certified by NGC to XF 45, S-6581Q.

Well struck with surfaces nearly free of any porosity which is frequently seen with this coinage.
