What’s going on coasties? It’s been a little while since I got some good writing on here. I know I have been slacking but I was home for a little while near the USCG Academy in New London, CT. That’s where I grew up so I am all to familiar even though I was never a coastie I have a true love for the branch. I have a lot of cool new things I will be sharing with everyone in the next few weeks. Some cool Coast guard things like coins and pins. Are any Academy grads out there reading this blog? We would love to hear from you. Also if you have something of interest you want to write about you can send it in and share it with the wrold on our blog.

We are hoping to get this ramped up for the new year and put some quality information out there. On a side note we have been working with a new website trying to help them get on the feet. If you haven’t seen MilBid.com yet we ask everyone to check it out. This new site is supporting the military (yes that includes the coasties…gesh…) through auctions. Please if you get a chance to swing by and register and check out some of the sellers already on board over there. They need us all to keep things alive.
